Marc Berry, M.D.

Marc Berry MDMarc L. Berry, M.D., is a licensed comprehensive ophthalmologist who was board certified in 1997. He has been with Maryland Eye Associates since 2013. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, he diagnoses and treats a myriad of ocular conditions including dry eye, ocular infections and glaucoma, with an emphasis on diabetic retinopathy. He has over 20 years experience in clinical ophthalmology and currently practices medical ophthalmology at Maryland Eye Associates.

Diane T. Chang, M.D., Ph.D.

Diane Chang MDDiane Chang, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who joined the physicians at Maryland Eye Associates in 2015. Dr. Chang obtained her medical degree and her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/Carnegie Mellon University Medical Scientist Training Program. She completed her residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. 

In addition to performing cataract surgery, she treats patients with a wide variety of eye conditions, including dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, ocular inflammation, macular degeneration and eye emergencies.

Brad V. Spagnolo, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Brand-Spagnolo-HRBrad V. Spagnolo, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Maryland Eye Associates who specializes in laser assisted cataract surgery and medical cornea. Dr. Spagnolo sees patients for medical eye exams for eye health and vision, cataract evaluation, laser cataract surgery and lens implants, help for dry eyes, corneal diseases and conditions, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, and consultation for all other types of eye diseases, problems and surgery. 

Dr. Spagnolo earned his Medical Degree at Temple University School of Medicine. His medical internship was under the auspices of Georgetown University at Fairfax Inova Hospital. Dr. Spagnolo completed his residency in ophthalmology at the George Washington University Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in Corneal and Refractive surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute.

Prior to joining Maryland Eye Associates, Dr. Spagnolo was the Vice President and Director of Refractive Surgery at Baltimore Washington Eye Center, where he established his highly regarded reputation for laser cataract surgery and lens implants, and treating corneal disease.

Dr. Spagnolo is certified by and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).

Jason B. Wanner, D.O.

Jason Wanner DOJason B. Wanner, D.O., is a glaucoma specialist and board certified ophthalmologist. Dr. Wanner’s practice focuses on glaucoma and cataract management including the most advanced medical and surgical treatments available. He currently sees patients in the Prince Frederick office. 

Dr. Wanner completed a glaucoma fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. While at Harvard he trained with world leaders in the field of glaucoma. He did his residency training in ophthalmology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he had the honor of being chief resident. He attended medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa and was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor Society. Dr. Wanner received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated with Distinction. He was raised in the suburbs of Chicago.  

Dr. Wanner has lectured at national ophthalmology meetings as well as to audiences of local health care professionals. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Chandler-Grant Glaucoma Society. Dr. Wanner has published articles on medical and surgical treatments in glaucoma.

Dr. Wanner is married to Melissa, a pharmacist, and has three children. He is very active in coaching youth athletics. The Wanners enjoy living in Maryland and all that it has to offer, especially activities on the Chesapeake Bay.
