We would like to inform you of some upcoming changes to our Maryland Eye Associates team. Dr. Erin Benjamin, MD, will be leaving at the end of the month when she relocates out-of-state with her family. Dr. Benjamin has been a valuable and integral part of our practice and we will miss the dedication and passion she expressed toward her patients and fellow colleagues. We plan to keep in close touch with Dr. Benjamin and wish her the best of luck with her future endeavors. Her last day in our clinic will be Tuesday, January 31st.
Additionally, we are pleased to introduce you to our newest provider, Dr. Brad Spagnolo, MD. Dr. Spagnolo will be joining us at the beginning of March and is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in laser cataract surgery and cornea. Dr. Spagnolo will see Dr. Benjamin’s patients, as well as new patients, for medical eye exams for eye health and vision, cataract evaluation, laser cataract surgery and lens implants, help for dry eyes, corneal diseases and conditions, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, and consultation for all other types of eye diseases, problems and surgery. Prior to joining our team, Dr. Spagnolo was the Vice President and Director of Refractive Surgery at Baltimore Washington Eye Center.
Dr. Spagnolo will be a wonderful addition to our team and we are confident that he will exceed the expectations for excellent patient service and vision care that you have come to expect from Maryland Eye Associates over the years.
